Fuel Injector Info

This page is being compiled as there is conflicting information out there regarding fuel injector sizes etc found in different models,

Here we will detail injector information for owners reference and add to is as we can fill in any missing gaps.
Most information will be provided from testing on our own in house ASNU Classic GDI Fuel Injector Flow Bench, cleaning and test rig.

Published fuel injector flow rates are measured at the industry standard of 3 bar at static flow (wide open 100%). We will also be providing further flow data at higher pressures for tuning reference.

RX-7 FC3s Non Turbo (Series 4) 1986-1988

This model uses 4 top feed injectors of the same size

Primary Injectors – Denso 550cc Top Feeds P/N: 195500-2020 – Color : Burgundy Red
Secondary Injectors – Denso 550cc Top Feeds P/N: 195500-2020 – Color : Burgundy Red

RX-7 FD3s (Series 6-8) 1991-2002

This model uses 4 Injectors side feed injectors, 2 smaller in the primary rail and 2 larger flow injectors in the secondary rail

This model uses 4 top feed injectors, 2 smaller in the primary rail and 2 larger flow injectors in the secondary rail

6 Port 231ps models
This model uses 4 top feed injectors, 2 smaller in the primary rail and 4 larger flow injectors in the secondary rail (2 known as “Primary 2″ and 2 as Secondary)

Testimonials
