Hypercarbon-Plus Brake Pads from Project Mu (Japan Domestic Market Version)
These are the HC+ Compound normally onlty sold in Japan and not for export.

The HC+ Pads offer slightly more stopping power than the Export version the HC800 and are made in Japan.
When you need extreme stopping power with extreme performance applications, you need Project Mu HC+ pads. The HC+ is capable of 800 Celsius yet is still able to use effectively with little warming up.

HC+ is a genuine ‘cross over’ pad suitable for both track day and race conditions while still working extremly well on the street. The HC+ is extremely capable in competition environments, so use this pad if you are involved in serious track days, rallying, autocross, sprint, time trails etc.

Along with temperature capabilities, HC+ is renowned as a ‘driver’s pad’ with unmatched driver feel and control. Available in many shapes and thicknesses.

The HC+ Pad sets are currently only available as full sets, due to their special order from Japan. Though we can special order front or rear sets if contacted directly.

Project Mu Bestop “Entry Level” Brake Pads for RX-8

Project Mu’s Bestop pad is designed as an improved replacement over genuine OEM road pad.
It has better temperature and friction capabilities than standard OEM pads, but the same low noise & dust characteristics. Something that is important to many of our customers.

Use Project Mu’s BestStop compound pads if you cruise and have the occasional spirited drive.
Please note these are not a fast road/track pad, if your going to be pushing your car on a regular basis we recommend looking for a more performance based set of pads.

Pricing is comparable with OEM replacements and performance is improved making this pad a ‘no brainer’ for your street car.

Project Mu SCR Pure Plus 6 Brake Discs (Non Paint Coated) for RX-8

These are Project Mu’s Base level brake discs offering a great upgrade over stock discs with improved performance. These are made to the a similer spec as Project Mu’s 2 piece rotors, but have been made in a 1 piece design to make them more affordable.

Designed as an stock replacement there is no modification requires to install these discs on your car.
These are the non painted version for those that are upgrading on a budget.

The round slits have a greater cleaning effect than their straight counterparts, and improve initial braking. Highly recommended for those that mainly do on-street “sport” driving.
