The New Adaptronic Plug-In Select ECU for the Series 5 RX-7 Fc3s (Both Turbo II and EGI)
Up to now the only option has been to use the Series 6 Select ECU with an adaptor harness, Now Adaptronic has release this Series 5 Model specifically for Turbo II and EGI models with electronic Oil Metering Pump.

Featuring all the same awesome features that has made these ECU’s so popular amongst the rotary community worldwide.

• Built in 4-bar MAP sensor to replace the factory 2.5 bar sensor.
• VE tuning to simplify injector upgrades and simplify staging
• Easy to use software
• Plugs into factory wiring
• Compatible with many third party dashes and devices

• Compatible with standard porting, extend, bridge and peripheral porting
• Boost control for turbo model (spare output available for turbo conversion with wiring modification)

Special Features

• This ECU also supports all the functions of the 440 ECU, however for advanced functions such as traction control, additional wiring and/or sensors will be necessary:
• Flex fuel function – fill it up with gas/petrol or any ethanol concentration
• Adaptive fuel control (self tuning) – reduces dyno time
• Traction control function
• Serial input for wideband O2 sensors (we recommend the MTXL)
• Serial output for communication with dashes and dataloggers (we recommend the Race Technology units)
• Headphone port for listening to the knock sensor while tuning
• Basic closed loop ignition control
• Closed loop fuel, idle, boost, 2 x variable valve timing control
• Easy to use software
• 8 programmable digital inputs
• Dual maps

This ECU is designed to plug in to the early ECU loom (usually know as the 8bit ECU this harness is made up of 4 plugs with 2 rows of pins in each plug.
