Oil Pressure Regulator

The Racing Beat-manufactured Street High Performance Rear Oil Pressure Regulator for the RX-8 interchanges exactly with the stock rear oil pressure regulator on all 2004-2008 Renesis engines. It is designed to bypass at 90-95 PSI, making it well suited for street-ported Renesis engines and a piece of mind upgrade for normal rebuilds. As supplied by Mazda, the factory pressure regulator is intended to bypass at maximum nominal rate of 80 PSI

Thermal bypass pellet
The thermal bypass pellet is designed to replace the stock thermal pellet found in the front of all eccentric shafts from 1986 onward the stock pellet works like a thermostat restricting oil flow to parts of the engine when cold. however when they fail they generally fail in the closed position leading to permanently reduced oil flow this is not good for your engine. The Racing Beat bypass pellet removes this point of possible failure. The pellet replaces the stock unit and allows full oil flow from cold. So by using the Eccentric Shaft Thermal Bypass Pellet Replacement you will know the oil is reaching the parts it should at all times.

Please Note
The 2009-2011 RX-8 Renesis engine is not equipped with a rear pressure regulator. Nominal oil maximum oil pressure on this application is 110-115 PSI. We do not offer a regulator to increase the oil pressure on this application.

Essex Rotary Air Pump Blanking Plate for RX-8

This blanking plate is designed for use on both OEM and aftermarket exhaust manifolds in order to block off the opening left when removing the Secondary Air Injection System typically when running a Decat.

Made from high quality stainless steel and thick enough that warping from heat is no problem

When installing the Essex Rotary blanking plate you will need to use the existing metal gasket and fasteners to hold it in place.

We do not recommend the removal of the secondary air injection system if you are still running a catalytic converter.

Removal of the secondary air injection system will usually cause the Check engine Light to illuminate this can be permanently turned off with our Stage 1 ECU Flash service.

Racing Beat Race Pipe (Decat) RX-8

RX-8 Decat Race Pipe – 2004-2011 RX-8

Racing Beat offers a full 304-stainless steel race pipe for RX-8 (for racing applications only).

Weighing aprox 4.5Kg. This mandrel-bent 3″ OD racing pipe is a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock catalytic converter section. This pipe utilizes a genuine OEM rear mounting flange for a secure fit to the stock (or an aftermarket) exhaust system.(many other decats require new shorter joint springs or modification to the existing springs)

  • The race pipe is equipped with a sensor fitting for the oxygen sensor. (Note: Placement of the sensor in the pipe will cause the “check engine” light to be illuminated, but performance and engine systems will not be affected.) Removal of the OE catalytic converter/presilencer section will result in a noticeably louder exhaust tone.

    Front Sway Bar

    The diameter of the RB front tubular bar is 1.25″ (32mm) x .1875″ wall thickness, as compared to the stock 1.05″ (27mm) x .134″ wall thickness front bar. An additional feature of the front bar is a pair of OEM style “stoppers” to prevent the bar from sliding sideways in the bar bushings during heavy cornering effort.

    Rear Sway Bar

    The diameter of the rear tubular bar is .75” (19mm) x .125” wall thickness, as compared to the stock .632” (16mm) x .097” wall thickness rear bar. An additional feature of the rear bar is a pair of OEM style “stoppers” to prevent the bar from sliding sideways in the bar bushings during heavy cornering effort.

    Both bars are supplied with replacement urethane bushings, Prothane grease and installation instructions. The original OEM bar clamps are retained for use with the rear bar, while the Racing Beat supply beefier clamps for use with the stiffer front sway bar.

    Racing Beat REVI Induction Kit

    Racing Beat offers their extremely popular REVi Intake System for all RX-8 applications. Designed to offer performance improvements without sacrificing drivability, the Racing Beat intake system is the final result of hundreds of hours of dyno test sessions and on-road testing.

    The major components of the REVi Intake System include: an OEM style air box assembly, custom-designed K&N air filter unit, aluminum mass air flow sensor tube, and a tuned-length air inlet horn. Unlike many of the aftermarket intake systems on the market, the Racing Beat intake system retains one of the important mesh screens to aid with the even distribution of airflow across the mass air sensor. The inclusion of this screen minimizes the possibility of “rough idle” issues that may occur if both stock screens are eliminated.

    Working with the design team at K&N Engineering, a high capacity air filter was developed that allowed us to position a tuned-length intake horn inside the filter body. This filter design allowed us to fine-tune the length of the air horn to maximize the performance potential. We have noted that many aftermarket intake systems for the RX-8 incorporate a large air filter, which is then connected to the intake manifold with a length of plastic or metal tubing. In many cases, the size of the filter that has been selected will dictate the length of tubing required, severely limiting the critical tuning importance of the air intake tube!
