  • Vibration felt inside the cabin

Boost controlled variable injection

This kit uses manifold boost pressure to determine when and how much fluid to inject. Proportionally injecting according to boost pressure gives the most accurate delivery of water-methanol and allows the most cooling and performance improvement over the widest range. More power and driveability is the result! It can be used on any forced induction engine.

The most suitable are the centrifugal supercharged and turbocharged engines, as they build boost is a more progressive manner concerning water-methanol injection. The positive displacement blower engines will work, but it might take more work to dial in the delivery. New: You can switch to a 0-5 Volt output signal from the Mass Air for injection controlling.

Aeromotive 10 Micron Replacement Fabric Fuel Filter Element

Commonly the most overlooked component in a fuel system, filter neglect can be the most costly. If not cleaned or replaced regularly, filter elements can become clogged resulting in reduced fuel flow, engine performance and ultimately, fuel pump or even worse, engine damage. By simply replacing and/or cleaning your filter elements regularly, you can avoid costly repairs to your fuel system and ensure peak engine performance.

Aeromotive recommends annual inspection and service of filter elements. This includes replacing 10-micron fabric elements and cleaning or replacing 100-micron stainless steel elements. Severe duty applications or newly installed systems may require more frequent maintenance.


How do you know what element you need for your filter? Several Aeromotive filters share the same housing, but the elements inside may be drastically different and putting the wrong filter or element in the wrong place could be costly for your fuel pump or your engine. To find out, look inside the inlet of the filter. Stamped on the top of the element is the micron rating. This will tell you what element you need for your filter.

Clutch Release Bearing

A high quality clutch release bearing for push type clutches found on the RX-8 and RX-7 FB and FC3s

It is highly recommended that this bearing is replaced at any opportunity  due to the considerable labor involved if it fails.

Please note that this will not fit the FD3s clutch if it has not been converted from pull type clutch mechanism to push type.

Comma DOT5.1 High Performance Brake Fluid 1L

Fully synthetic high boiling point brake fluid that is fully compatible with DOT3 and DOT4 Brake fluids recommended by Mazda.

DOT5.1 Brake fluid has a much higher boiling point then both DOT3 and DOT4 fluids making it an excellent alternative when renewing your brake and clutch fluid. as well as being very affordable when compared to many other high performance “race spec” fluids
We have been using this brake fluid in our own cars for many years with no issue even on long stints on track or drives through mountain passes where a lot of braking is required.

The 1620 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a six-puck high torque sprung disc with Ceramic buttons, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment tool.<br /><br />

This segmented Ceramic material with a performance pressure plate will provide the ultimate in street and strip combinations. This assembly is suited for up to 150% increase in torque capacity. Provides quick but smooth engagement and extended life. 300-mile break-in recommended with this set-up.

The 2600 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with segmented Ceramic facings, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment tool.

Please note that all Competition Clutch kits are only made for the 6 speed 231ps RX-8, it is possible to install these on a 5 speed 192ps rx8 however a lightweight flywheel and counterweight will be required.

This assembly provides up to 80% increase in torque capacity and is properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use. The Brass Plus material with its alloy backing matched to a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and extended life. 500 mile break-in highly recommended with this set-up. 300-mile break-in REQUIRED with this set-up. (Some kits may not be supplied with all pieces. Please verify with Competition Clutch before ordering).

The 2100 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with anti-burst steel backed Brass Plus facings, all applicable bearings, and the appropriate alignment.

Please note that all Competition Clutch kits are only made for the 6 speed 231ps RX-8, it is possible to install these on a 5 speed 192ps rx8 however a lightweight flywheel and counterweight will be required.

Essex Rotary would recommend changing your polot bearing and seal out at the same time as doing your clutch, this is an inexpensive part however its often overlooked when doing the job.

Aeromotive Fuel Line Adapter Kit

Whether you’re installing a nitrous system or simply a fuel pressure gauge, splicing into the factory fuel lines can not only add another complication into an install but poses problems if you convert your RX8 back to stock.

The Aeromotive Fuel Line Adapter allows you to connect a gauge sender or a fuel line for a nitrous setup without having to alter your fuel lines. The connection fits in line with the RX8 fuel system for a clean and simple install.

This Quick Connect unit simply fits between an existing factory quick connect location in the fuel rail and allows for both a 1/8npt and AN-6 outlets. 1/8npt is usually used to a pressure gauge or sensor and the AN-6 usually for a fuel line feed for something like a wet shot nitrous kit.

We also include an AN-6 plug in with the kit.

Black Halo Racing Long-Tube Header for RX-8

Exclusive to Essex Rotary in the UK

Essex Rotary are very excited to bring to the UK the most anticipated exhaust header of all time for the RX-8, The Black Halo Racing Long-Tube Manifold.

This header is intended as a ”race-only” application as it has no AIR pump fitting, will not fit an exhaust catalyst, will trigger the  410 and 420 CELs, and is not CARB certified.

After years of development and testing for performance, fitment, and durability, Black Halo Racing is excited to announce the Black Halo Racing Long-Tube Header that many have waited for is finally available and production has begun.  Over a period of two-plus years this header was tested on a few different RX-8s with similar performance in all cases.

The attached dyno sheet is from a 6-port/6-speed 2008 RX-8 with about 25K miles on it and using a BHR Ignition System as it’s only modification (installed well before the dyno test was performed), including still using the factory cat-back exhaust system. Typical rear-wheel horsepower gains were 20-25 rear-wheel horsepower, with additional engine torque being demonstrated as low as 2,000 RPMs, but actual total gains in power are dependent on the age/condition of each engine and the presence of other modifications.

Utilizing three 1-7/8″ primary pipes and a 3″ merge collector, this header balances easy installation, interference-free fitment, and the most free exhaust flow possible.  In addition, the CNC-milled engine flange has very smooth transitions from the rectangle exhaust ports to the round primary tubes.

The Black Halo Racing Long-Tube Header includes a 3″ midpipe outlets and all the gaskets and hardware needed for a comprehensive swap from your factory manifold A discounted option is available for those who already have a 3″ midpipe.

Mounts for the factory front and rear oxygen sensors are also installed and positioned in their OEM locations.

Due to the value of this part these headers are special order only and may take 4-6 weeks to be manufactured and shipped to us from BHR in the USA. Please remember you may need to allow up to this amount of time from order placement to arrival.

Black Halo Racing Intake Undertray

When installing aftermarket intake systems (such as the AEM and MazdaSpeed versions), the unattractive factory intake undertray is left exposed and visible and this product is intended as a direct bolt-in replacement for the OEM unit. It looks much better than the plastic factory unit and is available in anodized (black, Red and blue) finishes.

This tray is also a great option for turbocharged cars that have an open air filter in the stock location, this tray will help to minimize heat soak in to the intake from hot air exiting the radiator.

The Black Halo Racing Midpipe with High Flow Cat is a 3-inch pipe design with a single resonator (the design of which is exclusive to Black Halo Racing) that proves two resonators are not necessary to quiet down the Renesis and provide a great sound. This pipe does both with unmatched build quality and durability. By utilizing a resonator which has no internal packing it will retain its tone practically forever. Our midpipe also provides OEM fitment and will bolt up to the stock exhaust manifold as well as any cat-back exhaust system that uses stock mounting points.

A 3″ ceramic catalyst is in welded in to this version of the resonated midpipe for those concerned with exhaust emissions. This catalyst is not suitable for track use nor does it come with a warranty. The Racing Beat Street -Port Templates allow you to undertake your own intake and exhaust porting efforts on all model years of the high-power 6-Port Renesis 13B engine. These porting templates are traced from Racing Beat’s own master templates, which are the result of years of research and development. The actual port shapes are traced on thin sheets of aluminum which you must first cut out, testing your ability to use a die grinder effectively before attempting to port an expensive engine component. The finished template is held in place and the porting shape is then traced onto each housing.

Included with the Renesis porting templates are detailed instructions and advice to guide you through your porting efforts. Limited clearance on the Renesis side housings creates additional challenges when porting these housings, our instructions provide detailed photos of the most critical areas of concern.

Coolant Tank for RX-8

This is a replacement coolant expansion tank for your Mazda RX-8 these are a common fault in all RX-8 models as the level sensor is prone to failure on the original part.

Please note that when changing the tank there is s small pipe that goes on to the top of the radiator, care should be taken when removing this pipe (we recommend you remove it from the expansion tank end and NOT the radiator end) not to crack the plastic top tank of the OEM radiator around the nipple.

Essex Rotary Enhanced Oil Pressure Regulator for 04-08 RX-8

The new oil pressure regulator from Essex Rotary is based on a modified Mazda regulator but is designed to run a higher maximum oil pressure. Bringing the standard pressure on a series 1 RX-8 from  from a maximum of 80 psi and increasing it to around 110psi this increased oil pressure means that your series 1 engine will now run pressures much closer to that of the later series 2 RX-8 (R3)

The actual horsepower will vary from car to car. Further tuning of the E-Manage Ultimate with the E-manage laptop software may result in improved HP gain.

Oil Pressure Regulator

The Racing Beat-manufactured Street High Performance Rear Oil Pressure Regulator for the RX-8 interchanges exactly with the stock rear oil pressure regulator on all 2004-2008 Renesis engines. It is designed to bypass at 90-95 PSI, making it well suited for street-ported Renesis engines and a piece of mind upgrade for normal rebuilds. As supplied by Mazda, the factory pressure regulator is intended to bypass at maximum nominal rate of 80 PSI

Thermal bypass pellet
The thermal bypass pellet is designed to replace the stock thermal pellet found in the front of all eccentric shafts from 1986 onward the stock pellet works like a thermostat restricting oil flow to parts of the engine when cold. however when they fail they generally fail in the closed position leading to permanently reduced oil flow this is not good for your engine. The Racing Beat bypass pellet removes this point of possible failure. The pellet replaces the stock unit and allows full oil flow from cold. So by using the Eccentric Shaft Thermal Bypass Pellet Replacement you will know the oil is reaching the parts it should at all times.
